About Marissa
Marissa has a wide range of dietetic experiences, including clinical, outpatient counseling and sports nutrition, with her passions being sports nutrition, chronic disease management, and healthy lifestyle. Marissa also has experience with disordered eating and mental illness, understanding their sensitive and challenging nature and cautious approach needed when addressing. Marissa completed a dietetic internship in the Saskatoon Health Region and is registered with the Saskatchewan Dietitians Association and Dietitians of Canada. Marissa brings a strong background in athletics to the field of nutrition playing basketball at the provincial and college level, running half marathons and competing in Mud Run (Spartan) style races.
Marissa enjoys working with individuals of all ages including children, youth and, adults. She understands the importance of developing healthy eating habits at a young age and loves helping athletes and their families realize the impact of nutrition on athletic performance. Marissa is a compassionate and caring person and exhibits these characteristics when working with all individuals.

Dawn Nutrition is a nutrition consulting business run by Registered
Dietitian/Nutritionist Marissa Lindquist.
Marissa personalizes all nutrition services to meet the needs of the
client and focuses on outcomes that are realistic and sustainable. Marissa takes the time to listen to and
understand her client’s background in order to be able to provide practical,
realistic and sustainable practices.

physiotherapists, coaches, trainers and other members of the health care team to
provide complete and cohesive health service.
